BEES IN THE VINEYARDSwhy ?

It’s true that grapevines don’t need bees or other pollinators to reproduce — they are self-pollinating plants.

  • “So why place beehives near our vineyards?”
  • “Well, because their presence is essential!”

Although bees aren’t interested in the vines themselves, they forage on many other types of plants. By traveling miles and visiting hundreds of different flower species, bees help maintain the diversity of habitats and resources for the surrounding flora and fauna.

By installing hives within our vineyards, we support a healthy ecosystem and, in turn, foster biodiversity.

Ultimately, their presence encourages other plant and animal species to thrive. These little striped ladies are a true sign of a healthy vineyard!
